Leadership & Spirituality
integrating all parts of who you are while embracing the masculine and feminine energy
For us lightworkers, energy healers, spiritual beings and leaders in our communities finding our balance can feel sometimes a bit of a stretch.
I remember years ago while I was still in corporate, I would hide crystals in my bra, meditate in the bathroom, tap on my way to work and listen to abraham hicks with my earpods while doing monthly reports.
I was a spiritual leader in the closet so to speak 🙄 I did not feel comfortable fully embracing my spirituality, I thought I’d be judged for it.
Nowadays, I run by own business, I am fully open and truly embrace my spirituality not only in my day-to-day life but as a business owner and coach.
I work with many clients though who are leaders in the corporate world and small business owners who are having a hard time embracing all aspects of themselves.
It’s a pull and tug between what’s expected of us in this patriarchal society and what intuitively we feel called to do. It’s learning how to make a decision integrating the facts in a spreadsheet and the gut feeling we have.
It’s leaning into our masculine energy of decision-making, structure and single-focus while allowing our feminine energy of intuition, trust, collaboration and confidence to shine through.
Living in that that space, that balance, that essence is life-giving, energizing and wildly fun. And BTW this applies to both man, women and non-binary folx.
Living in that perfectly balanced place becomes a journey of confidence, of owning who you are and embracing all parts of you!
How do we do that? Simply by being present, intentional and honoring who you are. I said simply which I know it’s not always easy 😉
This requires having an understanding of our feminine and masculine energy.
Feminine and masculine energy has nothing to do with gender. Regardless of our gender, we all have both energies within us.
Feminine energy is…
✨Intuitive, compassionate, nurturing, strong, generous, collaborative, receptive
Masculine energy is…
〰️ Single-focused, structured, logical, assertive, goal-driven, protective
Being in a leadership position while also being a spiritual being is an incredible journey of growth, self-awareness, practice and an act of self-love.
Whether you work in a corporate job or have your own business, as a leader, you’re constantly being asked to nurture your masculine. It’s the most accepted (and sometimes respected) way of showing up as a leader.
There are deadlines, meetings, goals to meet and companies to run. Masculine, masculine, masculine.
Now there are also teams to nurture, colleagues to support, results to understand and intuitive decisions to make.
The real space of growth exists between resisting to fall into the traditional patterns and allowing our light to shine by breaking the norms and doing things a little bit different.
By following the inner guidance and nudge within.
If you’re leader and also spiritual and you’re eager to bring your feminine energy more into your work, your business, your leadership, here are some ideas on how to do that.
🪄 Be supportive of others, bring compassion and empathy to team meetings
🪄 Laugh, bring humor and lightness to the day-to-day
🪄 Embrace your power, your confidence, your intuition
🪄 Encourage others to step out of their comfort zone
🪄 Practice making decisions from your intuition
🪄 Take a moment to breathe, take a break, drink water and nourish yourself
🪄 Listen to music while working on a project
🪄 Wear clothes that magnetize your energy
🪄 Compliment others (and mean it of course)
🪄 End the day by writing a list of things that you’re proud of
🪄 Know your worth: speak up, ask for the raise, showcase your talent
Now as for the masculine energy, I have no doubt that you’re already got that mastered. Because it’s mostly the way we’ve been trained to show up at work.
This progress of incorporating and bringing your feminine energy to work might feel intimidating and scary at first.
Start slow, stay consistent and watch how to magic unfolds, team members begin treating you differently (in a good way!) you begin to feel more authentic and empowered by being you
May you follow your joy — always & in all ways!
